Despite not participating in practice on Wednesday, it seems like New York Jets running back Breece Hall may actually be trending in the right direction towards suiting up for the team's Week 7 matchup against the Miami Dolphins after Thursday's injury report was released.

Hall was listed as a Limited Participant, a stark upgrade from yesterday. The former second-round draft pick has missed the team's last three games with a quad injury, suffered during the Jets' Week 3 loss to the Detroit Lions.

Jets' head coach Aaron Glenn has made clear that once Hall returns to the lineup, he'll be the team's starting running back, despite how productive Braelon Allen has been over the last few weeks for New York.

Despite some fans disagreeing, there are some aspects of Hall's game that the Jets' offense has missed, like his ability to make plays out of the backfield in the passing game.

What could Breece Hall's return mean for the New York Jets offense?

Even if Hall does make his re-debut on Sunday, it's unclear if he's going to get the full workload as the bell cow running back. After signing his three-year deal this past offseason, New York is likely going to be careful with his reintroduction.

Expect a split workload between Hall and Allen, with Allen possibly maintaining the bulk of the work. The last thing the Jets want to do is have Hall strain himself and, in the worst-case scenario, reinjure the quad he's been nursing for nearly a month.

Regardless, the Jets offense is getting healthier, and that's only good news for a team that has been struggling to consistently move the ball the last few weeks.

Other New York Jets injury report notes

In other news on the Jets' Thursday injury report, other offensive starters seem to be on track to make their return against the Dolphins as well.

Wide receiver Adonai Mitchell, who has been out with a finger injury since before Week 3, was once again listed as a limited participant. Glenn called his return contingent on "pain tolerance" at his Wednesday press conference.

Left guard Dylan Parham, who, before missing time with a knee injury, was quietly the Jets' best and most consistent offensive lineman, is also trending towards making his return from injury. He's been a limited participant the last two days.

Other than that, it's starting to seem like Kiko Mauigoa, Kene Nwangwu, and Joseph Ossai are all trending down for Week 7 and are unlikely to play vs. Miami.
