The New York Jets' sputtering offense can be partially blamed on the team's inability to stay healthy. In just the span of a few weeks, wide receiver Adonai Mitchell, left guard Dylan Parham, and running back Breece Hall were all knocked out of games.
The Jets, who just saw tight end Mason Taylor and rookie wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. return from injuries, managed to get some positive news on the injury front. Per Aaron Glenn, Mitchell and Parham will be limited in practice, with the former's availability for Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins being based on "pain tolerance."
Hall, however, will not practice today, making him much less likely to suit up against Miami. While the team doesn't have a clean bill of health, it appears as though Mitchell and Parham are both on the right track as they try to nurse themselves back to full health.

New York Jets see Adonai Mitchell, Dylan Parham return to practice
The Jets have played just six snaps with their fully healthy starting offense all on the field together, as Cooper got hurt almost immediately, while the trio of Mitchell, Parham, and Taylor all suffered injuries in the next two weeks. Frank Reich may finally have all of the necessary tools at his disposal.
Of the three, Mitchell may have the most immediate impact. Without him, the Jets' offense doesn't have the vertical field stretcher they need to maximize Geno Smith's arm. As a result, they've played very conservatively, and well-prepared teams have managed to put them down as a result.
With Cooper fresh off a 100-yard game in what was practically his first complete NFL game, the Jets could go into Week 7 with three wide receivers capable of exploding for a triple-digit day.
The New York Jets need Dylan Parham and Adonai Mitchell back
Parham was performing like one of the best guards in football before he suffered an injury against the Detroit Lions. Even if he is unable to get back to the heights he showed early in the season, Parham should be a massive upgrade over struggling ex-Las Vegas Raiders teammate Jordan Meredith at left guard.
Hall not practicing should put his status in doubt for Week 7, but his loss has at least been mitigated by Braelon Allen having the two best games of his young career back-to-back. In the win against the Cleveland Browns and loss against the New England Patriots, Allen topped 100 yards from scrimmage.
The Jets' next two games are at home against the Dolphins and Raiders before a road duel against the Kansas City Chiefs that few, if any, expect New York to win. If they want to make a stand before the season starts to get away from them, the offense needs to improve. Mitchell and Parham should play a big part in that.
