New York Jets running back Breece Hall's future with the franchise was murky at best back in March, but now there's no question where Hall will be playing in 2026 and beyond.

Last week, the Jets and their starting running back came to terms on a three-year, $45.75 million contract extension, making Hall the third-highest paid running back in the NFL.

It wasn't always a sure thing that Hall would remain in New York throughout the duration of his rookie contract with the Jets. Injuries early on and constant trade rumors plagued the Iowa State product's first four years with the team.

But despite the up-and-down journey, Hall stuck with the Jets, and now they've officially stuck with him. Everyone can now keep their collective eyes on the future.

Speaking with the media for the first time since signing his contract extension, Hall was asked about his Jets tenure thus far and if there's reason for optimism in the future.

"Yes, it's been a rollercoaster. You know, I came in with some guys that aren't here anymore. You know, definitely always hasn't been good with me, but always hasn't been bad. So it's definitely been a rollercoaster, but it's a blessing, and I feel like, you know, I've definitely been built for it. "

Hall has faced plenty of turmoil throughout his young career in the pros. After an electric six-game start to his rookie season, a torn ACL cost him valuable playing time and sparked questions if he'd ever be the same player coming off the injury.

But the knee injury wasn't enough to stop him, and he would go on to compile 2,935 rushing yards and 22 total touchdowns in the three years since.

Even trade rumors, that reared their ugly head at this past year's trade deadline, weren't enough to deter Hall from recording his first-ever 1,000-yard rushing season.

Hall knows whatever comes next, he's built for any sort of adversity, thanks to what he's already been through with the Jets.

"You know, I've definitely had my ups and downs with the media, ups and downs in the game, and everything like that...One thing about me is, I'm always gonna show up every day, be the same guy, and show my teammates how much love I have for them and how I'm gonna play for them every week."

As the now bona fide featured back in New York, with a contract to back it up, Hall is ready to worry about nothing but football with the Jets, and hopefully lead a potent ground attack in 2026 and beyond.
