The New York Jets have finalized their roster heading into the upcoming season. Here’s a complete list of every cut made in order to have their final 53-man roster set.
At the end of the day, the NFL is a business and while cuts are never an easy thing to process as a professional football player, it’s done by teams looking to field the best roster possible. For the New York Jets, they’re a young team hoping to prove the critics and naysayers wrong in that they do have talent that’s capable enough of winning football games.
How many games can the Jets realistically win this upcoming season? Your guess is as good as mine but by the looks of it, this is a team filled with heart, passion, and a commitment to do whatever is best for the team. The leadership regime is doing their best to create a culture around hard work, execution, and above all else, emphasizing that the team should always come first before the individual.
It’s a great mantra to have as one can only help it translates to a locker room that is hungry and ready to play their hearts out. Unfortunately, not everyone made the final cut but the Jets are hopeful they made the right choices when it came to keeping certain players over others.
