Get the latest updates from tonight’s preseason Week 4 matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets.

The preseason finale between the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets is set to take place tonight at 7:00 p.m. Eastern in MetLife Stadium. The Jets are hoping to leave this game without more injuries as over the past few weeks, they’ve already been hit with the injury bug.

Final 53-man rosters are set to be finalized no later than Sat, Aug 2, 2017, by 4:00 p.m. Eastern. Plenty of players will do their best to prove their worth to decision makers that have some tough choices to make heading into the weekend.

At this point in time, the Jets would be wise in playing most of their veterans, especially on offense, for a good chunk of tonight’s game. This is easily a dress rehearsal for the regular season since it will be upon the football world shortly. Looking at the schedule, the Jets have a rough one this year and might as well give their first-team offense a plethora of reps since it hasn’t been clicking at all for most of the preseason.

Kony Ealy with the strip sack. He could win a job tonight #nyj

— Brian Costello (@BrianCoz) September 1, 2017

New-#Jets DE Kony Ealy with a sack-fumble. Great swim move to get there. Made it look easy.

Some impressive running by Elijah McGuire has #Jets in position for some rare points on a Christian Hackenberg-led drive.

— Darryl Slater (@DarrylSlater) August 31, 2017

Nice run there from McGuire. He seems like a pretty good one-cut back. When he puts his foot in ground, he can cut up field with force.

Eagles tie it 3-3.

#Jets still have starting defense out there, with the exception of the line.

— Darryl Slater (@DarrylSlater) August 31, 2017

Looks like Josh McCown's night is over, as Christian Hackenberg warms up. McCown tonight: 6 for 8, 57 yards, 14 snaps. #Jets

— Darryl Slater (@DarrylSlater) August 31, 2017

#Jets mixing and matching receivers. In three-receiver set just now, went with Thompkins, Stewart, Hansen.

— Darryl Slater (@DarrylSlater) August 31, 2017

#Jets offense needs to be able to get something going here. Again, it’s the third-string #Eagles defense.

A well-rested Josh McCown leads the Jets to two yards on the first series, and a well-earned three-and-out.

— Ralph Vacchiano (@RVacchianoSNY) August 31, 2017

#Jets open with Brandon Shell at right tackle, Kelvin Beachum at left tackle, Wesley Johnson at center. This is the starting OL, as of now.
