New York Jets Preseason Roster Cuts: Live Tracker

As the New York Jets ended their preseason on a high note, expect a plethora of preseason roster cuts as they trim down to their final 53. Stay up to date in our live tracker.

It’s about that time again as the end of preseason is over for the New York Jets. They ended with a 2-2 final record and even though these are meaningless games, a lot of players worked hard and hustled to prove their worth in earning a roster spot.

The final 53-man roster will be of great importance more so than ever before since the Jets are rebuilding from the bottom up. They need to fill the locker room with players that believe in the overall message the leadership regime is trying to establish.

Besides moving the Super Bowl III trophy to an area where players will see it every single time they enter the facility, they need players that won’t take plays off, execute, and be professionals on and off the field.

Over the next two days, expect to see a plethora of players cut from all across the NFL. Teams have until Sat, Sep 2, 2017, by 4:00 p.m. Eastern to get their roster finalized.
