In the latest episode of The Jet Press Podcast, Justin Fried and Mike Luciano discuss Breece Hall's future with the New York Jets, the latest quarterback rumors surrounding Kyler Murray, Jacoby Brissett, and others, and preview the Jets' 2026 free agency plans with predictions.

The show started with a discussion about the Jets' decision to place the franchise tag on Breece Hall this week. The move came as a slight surprise, as many believed the Jets would use the transition tag instead.

So, what changed? Justin and Mike break down how conversations at the NFL Combine likely contributed to the Jets' change of plans and what the future might hold for Hall in New York. Is an extension incoming? What about a possible trade? All options are on the table.

That transitioned into an update regarding the Jets' quarterback carousel and the latest rumors around the league. Justin and Mike had another Kyler Murray conversation, although recent buzz seems to suggest the Jets are an unlikely landing spot.

We also had lengthy discussions about a few other Jets quarterback targets, including the likes of Jacoby Brissett, Tua Tagovailoa, and Geno Smith. Brissett seems to be emerging as a new favorite, and the reported asking price from Arizona is minimal.

Finally, Justin and Mike previewed the Jets' upcoming free agency, with a host of possible targets discussed. That includes obvious names like Alex Anzalone and Al-Quadin Muhammad, as well as some under-the-radar targets like Ifeatu Melifonwu and Da'Shawn Hand.
