The show opened by discussing Russell Wilson and his reported visit to the Jets’ facility this week. With Geno Smith locked in as the starter, the Jets are exploring veteran backup options, and Wilson’s familiarity with both Smith and general manager Darren Mougey from their time in Denver makes him a logical target.

Justin and Mike debated whether Wilson is the best option available and whether the fan reaction to the news has been overblown. Spoiler alert: it has been.

That conversation transitioned into a discussion about the wild Brendan Sorsby situation. Justin and Mike broke down everything surrounding Sorsby’s uncertain future, including the possibility of him entering the supplemental draft, how that process works, and whether the Jets should consider placing a bid.

Both hosts weighed the risk versus reward and discussed what kind of draft capital, if any, would make sense.

From there, the focus shifted to the Jets’ remaining roster needs. Outside of backup quarterback, both agreed that linebacker stands out as an area worth addressing, with Bobby Okereke mentioned as a potential fit due to his connection with offensive coordinator Frank Reich. Additional needs such as depth along the offensive line and at safety were also discussed.

The episode wrapped with a breakdown of the Jets’ 2026 undrafted free agent class. Justin and Mike went through the group, highlighting which players have the best chance to make the roster or stick on the practice squad.
