In the latest episode of The Jet Press Podcast, Justin Fried and Mike Luciano discuss Corey Davis retiring, Mekhi Becton's revenge tour, and provide 53-man roster predictions for the NY Jets.

It happened again. Months after the Jets traded Elijah Moore live during a recording of The Jet Press Podcast, Jets wide receiver Corey Davis officially announced his retirement from the NFL at the age of 28 a mere two minutes into our recording.

What followed was a live and instant reaction to Davis' stunning announcement. Justin and Mike discussed what this means for the Jets, how this affects the team's cap situation, and what moves the organization can make.

Davis was arguably the second-best wide receiver on the Jets' roster — his absence will be felt in a big way. Are there any potential trade options the Jets can explore? What about possible free agents? We broke it all down.

After that craziness, Justin and Mike shifted into a conversation about the Jets' offensive line, specifically as it pertains to Mekhi Becton. Becton seems to have solidified himself as the favorite to start at right tackle.

What is the ceiling of this Jets' offensive line in 2023? Can the team rely on Becton, Duane Brown, and others to stay healthy this season? All of that was discussed.

Justin and Mike each also offered up a 53-man roster prediction for the Jets, although those projections were altered following the news of Davis' retirement. Which surprising players did we have making/missing the cut?

Players like Tim Boyle, Trey Dean, and Zack Kuntz remain firmly on the roster bubble, not to mention the Jets' uncertain wide receiver room. Let us know if you agree with our projections.
