In the latest episode of The Jet Press podcast, Justin Fried and Mike Luciano discussed the recent Aaron Rodgers/San Francisco 49ers rumors, the latest with Odell Beckham Jr. and the NY Jets, Mecole Hardman's 2023 role, and much more.

Justin and Mike broke down the recent "report" from FS1's Craig Carton that insisted the 49ers were ready to swoop in and make an offer for Rodgers if the Jets didn't act quickly.

Carton suggested that the 49ers were interested in trading for Rodgers and that the Jets now had a legitimate contender. Needless to say, Justin and Mike quickly worked to debunk this unfounded rumor. It just doesn't make sense in any way.

The Jets are the only team that is going to trade for Rodgers at this point. The exact reasons why were discussed on the podcast.

The conversation then shifted to the Jets' pursuit of veteran defensive tackle Al Woods. Woods left Cleveland without a deal, meaning the Jets will have an opportunity to meet with him in person this week. The hope is that a deal gets done.

Justin and Mike then discussed the latest with Odell Beckham Jr. Beckham wants to join the Jets, but a price point needs to be reached. With the Baltimore Ravens involved, are we still confident the Jets actually sign Beckham?

The Jets are also reportedly high on Mecole Hardman and have promised him an expanded role in 2023. That said, will the snaps be there for the two-time Super Bowl champion?

Finally, Justin and Mike played a little mock draft game. Numerous mock drafts from around the sports media world were analyzed, and Justin and Mike reacted to each selection. Who should the Jets draft at pick No. 13?
