In the most recent episode of The Jet Press Podcast, Justin Fried and Mike Luciano discussed the latest with Aaron Rodgers and the NY Jets, the futures of Corey Davis and Carl Lawson, and potential defensive tackle options after missing on Calais Campbell.

Justin and Mike discussed the most recent update regarding when a Rodgers trade might become official and what the potential compensation might be. It seems like pick No. 13 is off the table, but what else could the Jets offer? When is the next deadline?

The next topic of conversation was analyzing Joe Douglas and Robert Saleh's comments at the NFL's league meetings with week. In particular, Saleh shared some interesting remarks about the future of both wide receiver Corey Davis and defensive end Carl Lawson.

Saleh seemed to suggest that Davis, an expected cap casualty this offseason, could stick around and be on the Jets' roster in 2023. Was this just coach speak, or is there more to it? Justin and Mike both shared their thoughts on the situation.

As for Lawson, Saleh essentially promised that Lawson wasn't going anywhere. He will be with the Jets in 2023. Justin and Mike reacted to this news and offered their opinions.

We also broke down potential defensive tackle targets for the Jets after the team missed out on Calais Campbell. From Matt Ioannidis to Poona Ford, who could the Jets sign to address the defensive tackle position?

Finally, Justin and Mike discussed the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft and who the Jets could look to target with the 13th overall pick. That transitioned into our weekly draft spotlight in which Justin highlighted Oklahoma defensive tackle Jalen Redmond while Mike discussed USC defensive lineman Tuli Tuipulotu.
