The NY Jets will be looking for wide receiver help this offseason, and one high-profile name that could interest them is three-time Pro Bowler Odell Beckham Jr.

The Jets were one of the NFL teams in attendance for Beckham's workout on Friday, and he seems to have at least one notable fan already on the Jets' roster, that being cornerback Sauce Gardner.

Gardner posted a photo to Twitter on Friday that showed the reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year on a FaceTime call with Beckham. The photo was posted less than two hours before Beckham worked out for teams, the Jets included.

Gardner has been doing his part to recruit players to join the Jets this offseason, most notably his continued push for Aaron Rodgers. You can now add Beckham to that growing list.

Aaron Rodgers could tempt Odell Beckham to sign with the NY Jets

Beckham is expected to have a robust market this offseason after missing all of last year due to a torn ACL he suffered in Super Bowl LVI. Now fully healthy, the former Offensive Rookie of the Year is ready to contribute for an NFL team.

The Jets are expected to be in the wide receiver market this offseason. The team already released Braxton Berrios, and Corey Davis is expected to be another cap casualty. Beckham makes sense as a target if the Jets are comfortable with his medicals.

The 30-year-old wideout showed that he still has plenty left in the tank after he was traded to the Los Angeles Rams in 2021. Not only did Beckham play an important role in the Rams' playoff success, including a Super Bowl touchdown, but he also hauled in five touchdowns in just eight games with the team that year.

It wasn't long ago that Beckham was one of the most dynamic and talented receivers in football. There will be no shortage of suitors, but if the Jets do end up landing Rodgers, that would certainly go a long way toward tempting Beckham to return to New York.

Having a future Hall of Famer at quarterback can do wonders for a team's ability to recruit players in the offseason. If Beckham is deciding between a few teams, Rodgers might just give the Jets an advantage over their competition.

Credit to Sauce Gardner for doing his best to recruit players to join the Jets. From Aaron Rodgers to Odell Beckham, the young cornerback is doing everything he can to make the Jets a popular destination for players.

Gardner has quickly become the face of the franchise, and he's doing everything he can to make use of his newfound status.
