The NY Jets want Davante Adams and Davante Adams seems to want the NY Jets. Rumors of a possible reunion between Adams and Aaron Rodgers in Florham Park have heated up over the last few days, and we've reached a point where a trade seems very likely.

SNY's Connor Hughes went as far as to say that an Adams trade "seems inevitable" for the Jets. Hughes reported that the Jets and Las Vegas Raiders have been talking for roughly a week and appear relatively close to reaching an agreement.

There are still other teams in the mix, and Adams notably does not have a no-trade clause. He's open to joining other teams, but the Jets remain his preferred landing spot. That should help facilitate a deal.

The Rodgers influence certainly plays a factor here as well. At this stage, it would be a surprise if the Jets didn't trade for Adams. Stay tuned.

Morgan Moses returns to practice

The Jets released an updated injury report on Thursday and one notable change was that right tackle Morgan Moses had been upgraded to a limited participant in practice.

Moses returned to practice on Thursday for the first time since suffering an MCL sprain in the team's Week 3 win over the New England Patriots. But while his return was a step in the right direction, the Jets have already ruled him out for this week's game.

That's partially because the Jets will be traveling to London for their Week 5 game against the Minnesota Vikings. Moses will not make the trip across the pond with the rest of his teammates.

The Jets will start rookie Olu Fashanu at right tackle for at least one more week, but it seems likely that Moses will be able to return for the team's Monday Night Football showdown with the Buffalo Bills in Week 6.

Jets All-Pros

Now that we're a little under a quarter of the way through the 2024 season, Pro Football Focus has released its First Quarter All-Pro teams. Two Jets defenders were among those selected.

Linebacker Quincy Williams and cornerback D.J. Reed were named to PFF's First Quarter All-Pro Defensive team on Thursday. Williams and Reed have each been among the best players at their respective positions through the first four weeks of the season.

Williams ranks third among qualified linebackers in PFF grade (84.8), second to only Fred Warner in PFF coverage grade (89.1), and is third among linebackers in run stops with 18. He's missed just 6.1% of his tackle attempts this season — once again among the best at his position.

Reed's 85.6 PFF grade ranks second among qualified cornerbacks. He's allowed just four catches for 26 yards on 11 targets this season. Among the 88 cornerbacks with at least 115 snaps played, Reed has allowed the fewest catches and yards to this point.
