The NY Jets are expected to heavily pursue a trade for Aaron Rodgers if the 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback becomes available, but what might it cost to trade for him? That much remains unclear.
Two conflicting reports came out on Wednesday that seemed to detail Rodgers' trade value, although those reports couldn't have been much more different.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that any Rodgers trade would require at least one first-rounder, meaning the Jets would have to part ways with the No. 13 pick in the draft.
Meanwhile, Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reported that it was very unlikely that a first-round pick would be required to trade for Rodgers.
So who's right? Given previous reports, it's probably a safer bet to assume that Breer's report is more accurate, while Schefter's report could be coming directly from a Packers source looking to raise Rodgers' trade value.
Either way, maybe Rodgers was right with his comments about Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport this week. Maybe we really don't know anything.

Lamar Jackson update
The Baltimore Ravens officially hired Todd Monken to be their new offensive coordinator in a move that has received widespread praise. The hope now is that Monken will help entice Lamar Jackson to stay, but that situation remains unresolved.
The Score's Jordan Schultz reported on Wednesday that the Ravens did not "give full assurance" to offensive coordinator candidates they interviewed that Jackson would be the team's quarterback next season.
This directly contradicts what the team has said publicly. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said last month that the organization was "200 percent committed" to Jackson as their quarterback, but their internal commentary appears to be different.
The Ravens certainly want Jackson to remain their quarterback, but, as Schultz reports, they "truly don't know what the offseason holds." Stay tuned.
Jets select Broderick Jones in Todd McShay's mock draft
ESPN's Todd McShay released his second mock draft of the season on Wednesday, and he had the Jets selecting Georgia offensive tackle Broderick Jones with the 13th overall pick.
At 6-foot-4, 315 pounds, Jones is an excellent athlete for the position with legitimate All-Pro upside. Jones is a former five-star recruit who won back-to-back national championships with Georgia and was named first-team All-SEC this past season.
That said, Jones does have just 19 career starts at left tackle under his belt. He's far from a finished product, but the traits and tools are there for him to be a star at the next level.
Expect to see plenty of offensive tackles projected to the Jets in mock drafts. Jones figures to be a lock for the first round and a potential top-15 pick.
