NY Jets running back Breece Hall was carted off the field during Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos with what's being called a knee injury.

The rookie sensation injured his knee on a 1st-and-10 run with a little over three minutes to play in the second quarter. The Jets almost immediately ruled Hall out for the game after he was carted to the locker room — not usually a good sign.

Hall has taken the NFL world by storm in his rookie season and looked to be the odds-on favorite for Offensive Rookie of the Year. Any long-term injury would no doubt be a massive blow to this Jets' offense.

Hall started the game strong with a 62-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter. He became the first Jets player with a rushing touchdown in four consecutive games since Thomas Jones in 2008.

Hall has been everything the Jets wanted him to be and more, but his rookie season may have been put on hold following a potentially serious injury.

The NY Jets offense would be in bad shape without Breece Hall

There's likely no more irreplaceable player on this Jets offense than Hall. The rookie second-round pick had become the focal point of the Jets' offense over the last few weeks including a 116-yard performance a week ago.

This Jets offense runs through Hall, and if he's forced to miss any considerable amount of time, the team will undoubtedly struggle. Michael Carter is a good player, but there's no replacing Breece Hall.

Jets fans are collectively holding their breath and awaiting an update on Hall's status. Stay tuned for future updates.
