NY Jets 2023 Free Agency Tracker: Live updates, analysis of every move
By Justin Fried
The NY Jets are expected to have plenty of difficult decisions to make this offseason. Even aside from the quarterback drama, the Jets have a number of key players set to hit free agency.
They already re-signed one of them on Sunday, inking linebacker Quincy Williams to a three-year, $18 million contract. That came a few days after the Jets traded for Baltimore Ravens safety Chuck Clark.
The Jets have already been active this offseason, and that is expected to continue with free agency officially kicking off this week.
General manager Joe Douglas is well aware of the expectations for the 2023 season. Even if team owner Woody Johnson hasn't imposed a strict playoff mandate, Douglas and the Jets' brass know that the team essentially has to make the postseason in 2023.
It's now or never for Douglas and the Jets. This year's free-agency period could dictate how far the Jets make it next season. The time to strike is now.
Which free agents will the Jets sign? Will they re-sign any more players? Are any additional cuts coming in the future? And finally, where are former Jets players signing?
Be sure to check back periodically or bookmark this page as we will be updating this tracker throughout the week.
