6 potential landing spots for NY Jets WR Jamison Crowder
By Justin Fried
When the NY Jets signed Jamison Crowder prior to the start of the 2019 season, they hoped they were landing a reliable and dynamic slot receiver who could add a new element to their offense.
And for the most part, that's exactly what they got.
Crowder was one of the few former Mike Maccagnan free-agent signings that panned out as the former Washington receiver played out his three-year deal in New York putting together some of the most productive seasons of his career.
Crowder was the Jets' leading receiver in both 2019 and 2020, and at times, the lone bright spot of the offense. His contributions during what were some dark times for the Jets offense should not be overlooked.
That said, the writing has been on the wall for his departure since this past offseason. The Jets and Crowder agreed to a restructured contract to keep him on the roster, but it was clear that was only a temporary solution.
Now set to hit the open market again, it's hard to imagine the Jets look to bring back the soon-to-be 29-year-old. They'll look to get younger at the position while Crowder will, hopefully, find himself with a stable organization for once.
Where might that be, though? Let's take a look at six possible landing spots for Jamison Crowder in free agency.
