2. NY Jets target: Ben Jones, C

Ben Jones is one of the best players the Jets can still sign at a position of need. The Jets don’t seem interested in bringing back Connor McGovern and already missed out on Jake Brendel and Graham Glasgow, who they had interest in.

Jones, who worked with new Jets offensive line coach Keith Carter over the last five seasons in Tennessee, could be a perfect fit for the Jets. One area of need this offseason was offensive line depth, especially on the interior.

After adding Schweitzer and Trystan Colon, the Jets can go into the season with Laken Tomlinson at left guard, Ben Jones at center, Alijah Vera-Tucker at right guard, and Schweitzer, Colon, and a mid-round draft pick for depth. They can (and certainly have) done worse than that.

3. NY Jets target: Calais Campbell, DT

One of the only starters the Jets have lost to free agency is Sheldon Rankins, who went to the Texans. According to SNY’s Connor Hughes, the Jets made an offer and thought they were going to get Fletcher Cox before he decided to return to Philadelphia.

So why not go after another reliable veteran defensive lineman in Calais Campbell? The Jets love their defensive line rotation, and right now, they only have Quinnen Williams and Solomon Thomas on the interior.

A veteran like Campbell would be a great addition to that group.
