On a cold Sunday afternoon, the NY Jets traveled to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers in what turned out to be an encouraging game for Gang Green. While it wasn't pretty, the Jets were able to get it done in Pittsburgh and defeat the Steelers by a final score of 24-20.

For a majority of the game, the Jets underwhelmed. However, the fourth quarter came, and something clicked inside the mind of Zach Wilson and the Jets.

Thankfully, they played well enough to give themselves the win, and Zach Wilson turned his bad day, into a great day thanks to an incredible fourth quarter. Here are three players who led the Jets to victory.

3. Michael Carter II, CB, NY Jets

Michael Carter II had himself a day on the defensive side of the ball. He made big plays all throughout the game and proved to be a clutch member of the defense.

Carter found himself second to only C.J. Mosley in total tackles in the game with four. Carter also managed to pick up his first career interception on one of the most important plays of the game.

Perhaps the biggest play of the game came when Carter was able to come up with a huge interception to give the Jets the ball back late in the fourth quarter.

Thanks to a nice little assist by Sauce Gardner, Carter was able to come down with the interception. Carter's interception led the Jets to a massive game-winning drive with under a minute to go.

2. Breece Hall, RB, NY Jets

Breece Hall played a great game himself as well. Hall proved to once again be the top running back on the Jets, and he made sure fans knew it. Hall finished the game with 17 carries for 66 yards, averaging a total of 3.9 yards per carry. Michael Carter came in second with nine carries for just 15 yards.

Hall was also a threat once again on the receiving side of things. He was able to pick up two receptions for 12 yards. Arguably, the biggest play of the game for Hall came on the Jets' final drive. Hall ran the ball in for a two-yard touchdown with less than a minute to go to win the game for the Jets.

Breece Hall continues to impress and will hopefully be a force on the Jets for years to come.

1. Zach Wilson, QB, NY Jets

Early on in this game, it seemed very unlikely that Zach Wilson would be on this list. Prior to the fourth quarter, Wilson had eight completions out of 24 attempts for 124 yards, no touchdown passes, and two interceptions (one in the second quarter, and one in the third quarter).

However, then the fourth quarter came along and the Jets trailed by three points. The Steelers would quickly pick up another touchdown in the early part of the fourth quarter putting them up 20-10. Many people believed that this was just going to turn out to be like another blowout loss for the Jets.

They were wrong.

Wilson would quickly find Corey Davis to pick up a touchdown, cutting the Steelers' lead to 20-17. However, the Jets were able to get the ball back thanks to an interception by Carter, and this led to Wilson leading the Jets on a game-winning drive, and Breece Hall scoring the game-winning touchdown.

Oh, and Zach Wilson caught a touchdown pass himself on Sunday, thrown by Braxton Berrios. Welcome back, Zach Wilson!

Looking ahead, the Jets will be taking on the 3-1 Miami Dolphins next week in a game with massive implications. With Tua Tagovailoa sidelined, this is a game the Jets can win.

There have to be changes made from Sunday's performance, but the fourth quarter of the game was a step in the right direction. The Jets are 2-2 to start the year, and that's encouraging.
