NY Jets inactives list for Week 11 game against Colts (Davante Adams status revealed)
By Justin Fried
The NY Jets enter their Week 11 game against the Indianapolis Colts with a relatively healthy roster, all things considered. The team has only ruled out one true starter for this week's matchup.
At 3-7, the Jets' postseason aspirations are on life support, and the team can ill-afford a loss to the 4-6 Colts. The Jets realistically need to win their final seven games of the season to solidify their playoff hopes, and that would theoretically start with a victory today.
This is actually the fifth game in a row that the Jets are the better favorites. Of course, the team has only managed to win one of its last seven games, so maybe the Vegas oddsmakers still haven't figured them out. Still, this is a very winnable game for Gang Green.
Anthony Richardson is back under center for the Colts as Joe Flacco has been benched following his disastrous performance against the Buffalo Bills a week ago. Richardson raises the ceiling of the Colts' offense, but the second-year quarterback has completed just 44 percent of his passes this season.
The Jets have ruled out three players due to injury, left tackle Tyron Smith (neck), linebacker C.J. Mosley (neck), and offensive lineman Jake Hanson (hamstring). Wide receiver Davante Adams (wrist, illness) and defensive tackle Solomon Thomas (knee) are listed as questionable.
Who are the official inactives for both the Jets and the Colts today? We've got you covered.
Full inactives list for NY Jets in Week 11
- RB Israel Abanikanda
- OG Jake Hanson
- LB C.J. Mosley
- OT Tyron Smith
- CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse
- DE Braiden McGregor
Starting left tackle Tyron Smith is inactive with a neck injury. Smith suffered the injury in the team's Week 10 loss to the Cardinals and did not play the second half. Rookie first-round pick Olu Fashanu will make his first NFL start at his natural left tackle position.
Backup offensive guard Jake Hanson is also inactive again with a hamstring injury. The backup offensive linemen active for the Jets today are Max Mitchell, Carter Warren, and the recently-claimed Connor McGovern. This is only the second game Warren is active for this season.
Linebacker C.J. Mosley will miss his fourth consecutive game with a neck injury. Mosley has appeared in just four games this season as a result of multiple injuries. He will hope to return from injury after the bye week, but for now, it'll be Sam Eguavoen serving as the third linebacker behind Quincy Williams and Jamien Sherwood.
The Jets only have six inactive players, since they only elevated one player from their practice squad, kicker Anders Carlson. Running back Israel Abanikanda, cornerback Jarrick Bernard-Converse, and defensive end Braiden McGregor are the three healthy scratches.

- OT Bernhard Raimann
- QB Sam Ehlinger (emergency third quarterback)
- WR Anthony Gould
- SAF Darren Hall
- DE Genard Avery
- TE Will Mallory
- OG Josh Sills
The Colts have only ruled out one player, that being starting left tackle Bernhard Raimann. Raimann suffered a knee injury in Week 10 and will be replaced by rookie third-round pick Matt Goncalves.
This will be the second start of Goncalves' NFL career, as he previously started a game for the Colts in Week 9. Indianapolis will have three rookie offensive linemen protecting Richardson this week, with Goncalves joining fourth-round center Tanor Bortolini and undrafted rookie right guard Dalton Tucker.
