The New York Jets are set to enter their Week 8 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals with a depleted roster and injury-riddled offense. The team will be without the likes of Garrett Wilson, Josh Reynolds, and Tyrod Taylor as they stroll into Cincinnati looking to notch their first win of the 2025 season.

Wilson will miss his second consecutive week with a knee injury, while Reynolds was placed on the injured reserve on Saturday after popping up with a quad injury in practice on Friday. Reynolds will miss the team's next four games, but the hope is that Wilson will be back after the team's bye week.

It will be Justin Fields starting at quarterback once again after Taylor was surprisingly downgraded to out on Saturday. Not only will Fields be without his top two wide receivers, but he could also be missing his best running back.

Breece Hall is listed as questionable for today's game against the Bengals due to a knee injury. What's the latest on Hall's status? Is he playing today?

Is Breece Hall playing for the Jets in Week 8?

Hall was listed as a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday before he was upgraded to a full participant on Friday. That seems to be a strong indication that the Jets expect him to play in today's game.

Head coach Aaron Glenn told reporters on Friday that most of the team's questionable players were "trending" in the right direction, although that clearly didn't apply to Reynolds and Taylor, who were both ruled out 24 hours later.

Hall suffered the injury in the second half of last week's 13-6 loss to the Carolina Panthers. He was held out for a few plays in the fourth quarter but would return to split snaps with Isaiah Davis.

If Hall were unable to play today, Davis would be in line for a much larger role. The only other healthy running back on the roster is veteran Khalil Herbert, who was a healthy scratch last week. Herbert is expected to be active in today's game, with Kene Nwangwu (concussion) sidelined.

Hall has found himself at the center of trade rumors in the days leading up to next week's trade deadline. If he plays today, it could very well be his last game in a Jets uniform, with the team set to head into its bye week next.

All indications are that Hall will be on the field when the Jets take on the Bengals later today. His future beyond that, however, remains a very legitimate question mark.

Update: Breece Hall is officially ACTIVE for the Jets in Week 8 as expected.
