The New York Jets have been linked to a wide range of prospects in the lead-up to the 2025 NFL Draft. With a new regime in place, a revamped quarterback room, and plenty of roster holes still to fill, the Jets enter draft week as one of the more unpredictable teams inside the top 10.
As holders of the No. 7 overall pick, the Jets could reasonably go in a number of different directions, with the team connected to offensive linemen, tight ends, wide receivers, and even defensive prospects.
They’ve done their homework on many of this year’s top prospects, leaving fans and analysts alike to speculate over which name might be called when the Jets are on the clock.
But with a little over a week to go, it seems the board may be narrowing. ESPN's Rich Cimini reported on Sunday that the Jets’ top targets at No. 7 appear to be down to three names: Missouri offensive lineman Armand Membou, LSU offensive lineman Will Campbell, and Penn State tight end Tyler Warren.
"With 11 days to go before the draft, the top candidates for the Jets' pick at No. 7 are tackles Will Campbell (LSU) and Armand Membou (Missouri) and tight end Tyler Warren (Penn State). This is based on conversations with league sources."Rich Cimini
NY Jets eyeing Armand Membou, Will Campbell, and Tyler Warren with No. 7 overall draft pick
Membou has become arguably the most popular pick for the Jets in mock drafts in recent weeks. The former Missouri star started 29 games at right tackle over the last three seasons and is seen by many as the top offensive lineman in this year's class.
At 6-foot-4, 332 pounds, Membou is a powerful, compact tackle who plays with a strong base and natural leverage. He started every game at right tackle for Missouri over the last two seasons, earning second-team All-SEC honors for his performance in 2024.
Membou combines physicality with an NFL-ready skill set, showing the kind of technique and consistency that projects well at the next level, especially for teams in need of a plug-and-play starter on the right side. The Jets happen to be one of those teams.
Campbell is a name who hasn't been connected to the Jets, but he's very much in play at No. 7 overall. His draft stock depends on individual team evaluations. Some teams view Campbell as a guard at the NFL level, citing his limited arm length. Others believe he can hold up at tackle.
Unlike Membou, Campbell started three seasons at left tackle for LSU, earning Consensus All-American honors in 2024. If the Jets believe he can play tackle in the NFL, he makes a ton of sense as a draft target.
As for Warren, the Penn State standout has been another extremely popular pick for the Jets in mock drafts. The 22-year-old broke out with a stellar 2024 season, finishing with 104 catches for 1,233 yards and eight touchdowns, earning first-team All-American honors in the process.
The Jets have obvious needs at both right tackle and tight end, with Chukwuma Okorafor and Jeremy Ruckert penciled in as starters at each position, respectively. It's safe to say the Jets intend to address both positions in the draft.
If the board falls a certain way, the Jets may have to choose which hole to plug first. And based on recent buzz, they may already have their shortlist locked in.
