The New York Jets were relatively lucky this offseason, avoiding any and all major injuries that would keep players out for the long-term. That said, they didn't come out unscathed and were missing some important names throughout training camp and the preseason.
Among those names was running back Breece Hall, who suffered a minor groin injury in mid August. Hall appeared in the Jets' first preseason game, but was shut down in hopes of having him ready for the start of the regular season.
It seems Hall is on the right track, as Aaron Glenn's most recent injury update indicated that the Jets' star running back is trending in the right direction
"He's trending. Yeah, he's trending towards playing," Glenn told reporters on Tuesday. "He'll be practicing this week."
New York Jets should be at full strength offensively vs. Tennessee Titans
With Hall back in the mix, it seems like the Jets will be working with their full array of starters, at least on offense. Even rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq, who missed the entire summer rehabbing from hernia surgery, was spotted at practice on Tuesday. ESPN's Rich Cimini shared a video from Florham Park.

For the first time in what feels like forever, the Jets seemed prime for an exciting season on offense. They boast several faces at running back, wide receiver, and tight end who should give fans a legitimate reason for excitement.
Even the offensive line, which is returning four of five starters from the 2025 season, is in top shape. Not a single starter missed any time throughout the offseason, and the Jets will surely be leaning on the guys up front to give running lanes to Hall and give veteran quarterback Geno Smith enough time to throw.
With both Hall and Sadiq participating in practice on Tuesday, it's a good sign that the Jets will, in fact, be operating at full strength for their season opener.
New York Jets may look to emphasize running the ball vs. Tennessee Titans
The Jets may be focusing their offensive attack on Sunday in the run game, but it isn't just because of the return of Hall.
It was revealed on Monday evening that the Titans are likely to be without starting linebacker Cedric Gray for their season opener after a UTV accident left him in the NFL's concussion protocol. The young defender was fourth in the league in tackles last season and is a key loss for Tennessee's defense.
Pro Football Focus graded Gray as the second-best run-defending linebacker in the NFL last season, earning a grade of 92.7. With his absence, expect the Jets to lean on their hopefully healthy running back and road-grating offensive linemen up front.
