In this 2018 NFL free agency tracker for the New York Jets, get the latest news, signings, and rumors from verified sources on the internet.
The 2018 NFL free agency period is finally upon the football world! We’ve been waiting months for this moment as fans of the New York Jets should hopefully be in for a rollercoaster of a ride. Keep in mind that once free agency starts, anything can and will happen.
At this point in time, the Jets have made some big free agent acquisitions but have lost a few of their own internal free agents. They’ve added a new quarterback in Teddy Bridgewater, re-signed Josh McCown, and even added a new offensive weapon in running back Isaiah Crowell. On defense, they’ve added star cornerback Trumaine Johnson and linebacker Avery Williamson. Their latest free agent signing bolsters their offensive line as they’ve come to terms with center Spencer Long.
The Jets also re-signed cornerback Morris Claiborne and found a kicker to replace Chandler Catanzaro in Cairo Santos. As the weekend looms, the Jets are likely negotiating deals with other free agents to continue bolstering their roster for next season.
Below is the full list of confirmed free agent signings by verified sources including instant grades and analysis:
