Heading into the 2017 NFL Draft, here is our Rounds 2 & 3 live tracker to keep up-to-date on everything involving the New York Jets.
In Round 1 of the 2017 NFL Draft, the New York Jets selected safety Jamal Adams with the No. 6 overall pick. For the most part, fans of the Jets very much enjoyed the selection. Despite getting rave reviews for their first-round pick, general manager Mike Maccagnan has a lot of work ahead of him.
At this point in time, the Jets currently have three picks combined in Rounds 2 & 3. Here are the picks Maccagnan has in his arsenal:
Round 2 – No. 39: Safety Marcus Maye
Round 3 – No. 79: Wide Receiver ArDarius Stewart
Round 3 – No. 107: Traded to Tampa Bay Buccaneers (For No. 125 & No. 204)

- NY Jets reportedly non-tendering linebacker Harvey Langi
- NY Jets: Why the team should not cut Jamison Crowder
- NY Jets should try to sign Kenny Golladay in free agency
It’s hard to predict exactly what the Jets will do in Round 2 of this year’s draft. On our big board, it would make sense to either go cornerback or if a top running back is available, selecting one to bolster the Jets offense.
Round 2 easily has some top prospects still available that many consider being first-round caliber talent. Maccagnan could have some tough decisions to make once he’s on the clock but for the most part, it comes down to how his own draft board pans out when making his final decision.
No matter what happens, rest assured you’ll be kept in the loop in our live tracker below on the Jets. This will be updated by the minute with news, rumors, and anything involving the Jets heading into the Rounds 2 & 3 of tonight’s draft.
We here at The Jet Press will only post tweets/updates from official, verified, and legitimate sources so don’t worry about anything bogus or fake being updated below. If the Jets do indeed end up trading up/down or even players, we’ll let you know in addition to who they ultimately decide to draft.
We also encourage our readers to please follow us on Twitter and Facebook as we’ll be posting updates there as well. From everyone here at The Jet Press, we hope you enjoy tonight’s start of the 2017 NFL Draft!
