Who are the announcers and referees for NY Jets vs Seahawks today?
By Justin Fried
The NY Jets will kick off the post-Joe Douglas era with a home matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13. The Jets return from their bye week without their former general manager after Douglas was fired this past week.
With just six games remaining in the 2024 season, the Jets are very much an organization going through the motions until the offseason arrives. Count Aaron Rodgers among those likely playing out the final stretch of their Jets careers.
The Seahawks, however, have a lot to play for in today's game. Seattle enters Sunday's game riding a two-game win streak following victories over the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals. At 6-5, they're hoping for another win to secure first place in the NFC West.
The Jets have little more than draft position to play for while their opponents are fighting for a playoff spot. Who are the announcers fortunate enough to call such a game? Which officials will be tasked with keeping order in today's matchup?

Sanchez has been calling NFL games for FOX since 2021 and famously served as the Jets' starting quarterback from 2009 to 2012. The Jets haven't made the postseason since Sanchez was with the team.
Amin has been calling NFL games since 2020 and was previously teamed with three-time Super Bowl champion Mark Schlereth. This is his third year calling games alongside Sanchez for FOX.

Side Judge Nate Jones is actually a former NFL player, having played cornerback in the league from 2004-2011. The Rutgers product and New Jersey native is one of just two former NFL players who are active officials this season.
