In the latest episode of The Jet Press Podcast, Justin Fried and Mike Luciano discuss the latest Aaron Glenn discourse, the status of the New York Jets head coach, and grade the team's 2025 season. We are joined by FanSided's Candace Pedraza for this New Year's Eve edition of the show.

The show started with a discussion about head coach Aaron Glenn and his standing among the Jets fan base. Mike got a little heated when talking about the discourse surrounding Glenn, calling out Jets fans for spewing negativity amidst the team's struggles.

Both Justin and Mike agree that Glenn will be back in 2026, but should he? What, if anything, has Glenn done to inspire confidence entering a pivotal offseason for the organization? What's the argument for keeping him for another year? We broke it all down.

The remainder of the show was devoted to grading various players and coaches' 2025 seasons with the Jets. We were joined by SideLion Report's Candace Pedraza to accomplish this task.

Justin, Mike, and Candace graded the performance of the entire Jets coaching staff — including Aaron Glenn, Tanner Engstrand, and Steve Wilks — in 2025. Wilks understandably received failing grades across the board, but what about Glenn and Engstrand?

We also took a closer look at general manager Darren Mougey's first year on the job, specifically as it pertains to the team's 2025 draft class. Does Mougey receive more of a pass than Glenn and the coaches? How much should the Justin Fields signing be held against him?

Speaking of Fields, we also took turns grading his 2025 season, and it's safe to say our analysis wasn't too kind. This was not a good season for the former Chicago Bears quarterback, to say the least.
