The NY Jets are hosting one of the many global games that the NFL will put on display overseas in 2025, with former Ambassador to the United Kingdom Woody Johnson once again sending his team to the British Isles for one of their regular season games.

Just a few days ahead of the official schedule release, leaks are starting to trickle out hinting at who could be joining the Jets across the pond. The latest rumors suggest that their European foe will be a team who gave them a huge season-changing headache in the 2024 season.

A rumor has emerged on Twitter, coming from both insiders and those who are interested in schedule releases, that suggests that the Jets will hop on a plane to London for a rematch against Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos on October 12. This would coincide with Week 6 of the 2025 season.

The Jets narrowly lost to a Broncos team that made the postseason last year, and that game feels like one of many that got away from them. New York will have their chance to avenge last year in front of a worldwide viewing audience.

Jets rumored to be playing Broncos in Week 6 London game

The Jets' 10-9 loss to the Broncos last year, which came after holding Nix to -7 passing yards in the first half, changed the course of this franchise. Greg Zuerlein's missed kicks against an opponent that Woody Johnson was convinced they should have beaten set the stage for Robert Saleh's firing after their last London trip.

The Broncos boast one of the league's best defenses, and Nix's strong finish to the 2025 season suggests that he could be a franchise quarterback for Sean Payton. The Jets will assuredly enter this game as a huge underdog who will need to work their way uphill.

The NFL will reportedly host three straight games in London. The Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns will meet up for a duel in Week 5 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before the Jets take on Denver, while the Los Angeles Rams will face the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley in Week 7.

The Jets are 1-2 in London, having beaten the Miami Dolphins in 2015 while losing to the Atlanta Falcons in 2021 and having fallen to the Vikings last year. Can they get back to .500 after exacting their revenge on a much-improved Denver defense?
