Wilson played the best game of his NFL career this past Sunday in a stunning 30-6 Jets win over the Houston Texans. His stellar performance has reopened a discussion about what the future holds for the former No. 2 overall pick.
The Jets and Wilson already reportedly mutually agreed to part ways earlier in the season. Is there any possibility that Wilson can force his way into the team's plans in 2024?
Justin and Mike broke down Wilson's future and discussed whether the Jets should bring him back as a backup next season. It might not be easy, but there is a world where Wilson is still with the Jets next year.
The same might not be able to be said about Mekhi Becton. The former first-round pick has stayed mostly healthy this season, but that might not be enough for the Jets to consider re-signing him this offseason.
Becton is slated to be a free agent, and all indications are that the team is ready to move on. Is there a chance Becton can return in 2024, or is he playing out the final few games of his Jets career?
