In the latest episode of The Jet Press Podcast, Justin Fried and Mike Luciano discuss the latest Sam Howell rumors, a potential Jamal Adams reunion, and a few possible cap casualties the NY Jets could target this offseason.

The show began with a discussion about the recent rumors surrounding Washington Commanders quarterback Sam Howell. The Jets are looking for a backup QB this offseason, and Howell's name has been mentioned as a possible target.

Are the Howell rumors legitimate? Would this even be a good move for the Jets? Are there better alternatives the Jets should explore? All of this was discussed.

The conversation then shifted to former Jets All-Pro safety Jamal Adams. Adams has reignited potential reunion rumors on social media in recent weeks, prompting some fans to suggest the Jets should sign him this offseason.

While the Seahawks are expected to release Adams in the coming days/weeks, it doesn't make any sense for the Jets to bring him back. From declining production to injury issues, Justin and Mike explain why no one should hold their breath about an Adams return.

Speaking of players who are expected to be released this offseason, Justin and Mike then broke down a few potential cap casualties the Jets could target this offseason.

From former Green Bay Packers, such as David Bakhtiari and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, to Robert Saleh connections, like Jimmy Garoppolo and D.J. Jones, we took a close look at some potential cap casualties targets for the Jets.

Finally, Justin and Mike closed the show with their weekly draft spotlight. Mike discussed North Carolina wide receiver Devontez Walker, while Justin highlighted Oregon offensive lineman Jackson Powers-Johnson.
