In the latest episode of The Jet Press Podcast, Justin Fried and Mike Luciano discussed Joe Douglas' press conference, a possible Brandin Cooks trade, and draft prospects to watch at the NFL Combine.

Douglas met with the media on Tuesday and discussed a variety of topics ranging from the Jets' continued quarterback pursuit to Zach Wilson's future to Mekhi Becton's fifth-year option and many other topics.

Justin and Mike broke down Douglas' words and discussed the important takeaways. What's the latest with Quinnen Williams and his extension? When could we expect an extension? What might it cost?

As far as Wilson goes, Justin and Mike discussed whether Douglas' words of support actually mean anything. Is Wilson in the Jets' plans in 2023? Do the Jets still feel strongly about him reaching his ceiling, as Douglas insisted?

Douglas also spoke highly of Becton and the progress he made, but will the Jets decide to pick up his fifth-year option ahead of the May 1st deadline? That much remains to be seen.

Later in the show, Justin and Mike discussed the idea of the Jets potentially trading for Houston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks. Cooks could be a big-name target for the Jets this offseason.

Finally, Justin and Mike each shared one draft prospect who could improve their stock in a big way at the NFL Combine. Justin highlighted Wisconsin center Joe Tippmann while Mike analyzed Auburn linebacker Owen Pappoe.
