The NY Jets have released their list of inactives ahead of their Week 13 game against the Minnesota Vikings and there aren't really any surprises. There are a couple of notable developments, however.

Offensive tackle George Fant is set to make his return after missing over two months with a knee injury. The same is true for defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins who missed two games with an elbow injury.

The Jets' list of inactives includes quarterback Zach Wilson, running back Michael Carter, tight end Jeremy Ruckert, safety Ashtyn Davis, cornerback Bryce Hall, and wide receiver Jeff Smith.

Carter injured his ankle in last Sunday's game and was listed as doubtful on the final injury report after not practicing all week. As for Davis, he injured his hamstring in Week 12 and was listed as OUT on the final injury report.

The NY Jets will return two key starters (?) in Week 13

Rankins is expected to step right back into a starting role and provide a big boost to a Jets' defensive line that could do some damage against a porous Vikings offensive line.

As for Fant, however, his status for this week's game is less clear. The Jets placed veteran Cedric Ogbuehi on the injured reserve on Saturday in a corresponding move to activating Fant off the injured reserve which gives them one less option.

The Jets could insert Fant into the starting lineup at right tackle or they could continue to roll with rookie Max Mitchell who stepped in for the injured Ogbuehi and played well last week.

Wilson is inactive for the second consecutive week leaving Mike White and Joe Flacco as the Jets' two quarterbacks. Ashtyn Davis being inactive means that undrafted rookie Tony Adams is active for the first time since Week 7.

Ruckert was active last week, but the return of Kenny Yeboah has rendered him a healthy scratch once again. The likes of Jeff Smith and Bryce Hall are expected to be regular healthy scratches moving forward, barring injury. Hall hasn't played since Week 1.

The Jets take on the Vikings with kickoff at 1 pm ET.
