The NY Jets will likely be without at least one key starter when they take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13. The team released its final injury report on Friday and among the notable names on the list is running back Michael Carter.

Carter was given a doubtful designation on the final injury report and did not practice this week due to an ankle injury. The second-year running back injured his ankle in the first half of the team's Week 12 victory over the Chicago Bears and did not return.

While Carter might not be forced to miss significant time, it does seem as though he's set to miss this week. With Carter sidelined, expect a heavy dosage of undrafted rookie Zonovan Knight as well as Ty Johnson and James Robinson, the latter of whom was a healthy scratch last week.

Safety Ashtyn Davis has been ruled out with a hamstring injury. Davis left Sunday's game against the Bears early as well and did not practice this week. Expect undrafted rookie Tony Adams to be active with Davis out.

Offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi is listed as doubtful with a groin injury after exiting Sunday's game. Ogbuehi has started the last four games for the Jets at right tackle but is likely to miss this week.

The most likely replacement for Ogbuehi is rookie Max Mitchell who played most of Sunday's game in place of the veteran tackle. The Jets have also hinted at potentially activating George Fant from the injured reserve. If that happens, Fant could start at right tackle.

Left tackle Duane Brown is also listed as questionable with a shoulder injury, but there's been no indication that he will be unable to play on Sunday. Brown was a full participant on Friday and is in line to play.

Defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins and tight end Kenny Yeboah were full participants in practice the last two days and are off the injury report for Sunday's game.

As for the Vikings, they have just two players listed on their final injury report, although one of those two players is a very important starter. Left tackle Christian Darrisaw will miss his second consecutive game with a concussion opening the door for backup Blake Brandel to start.

Defensive tackle Ross Blacklock is listed as questionable with an illness but seems likely to play.
