Coming off their second win of the season, the NY Jets are headed back home for a showdown with the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles. We obviously hope the Jets can become the "1" in 5-1 for the Eagles, but let's take a moment to also make sure your fantasy teams are set up for success.

With a combined 51 points in the last two games, the Jets scored more than they did in the first three weeks combined. Have they turned a corner? Will they consistently be more fantasy-relevant than they were those first few weeks? Let's take a look:

NY Jets to sit with confidence

  • Zach Wilson

I'd like to formally apologize for suggesting you should start Zach Wilson in your fantasy lineup last week.

Like so many Jets fans and media members alike, I was so impressed by his performance on Sunday Night Football that I was willing to ignore the 25 previous examples of historic ineptitude and suggest he may find success against the league's worst-performing defense at that time.

199 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception is what we got for our optimism, and regardless of your scoring rules, I can very confidently say that Wilson produced a single-digit fantasy point output for your team. So again, I'm sorry — I will do my absolute best to never lead you astray again.

In five tries this season, Wilson has only eclipsed 200 yards once. He has never eclipsed two passing touchdowns in the three years he's played in the NFL. You can sleep like a baby if you drop him back to waivers and literally start any other option at QB instead.
