Week 5: NY Jets @ Atlanta Falcons (London)

Easily the biggest surprise of the schedule release was the return of London football games. After the coronavirus prevented the league from traveling overseas this past season, the Jets will play the Falcons in the first London game since before the pandemic.

That being said, it could turn into a shootout.

The Falcons have a terrifying trio of weapons in Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, and Kyle Pitts for Matt Ryan to throw to. At the same time, they also lack a strong defense to stop the Jets' own young offensive firepower.

In the end, the Jets' inexperience at cornerback may be their undoing. Sorry to Jets fans across the Atlantic, there will not be a Jets win in London this season.

Prediction: Loss (1-4)

Week 6: BYE

Week 7: NY Jets @ New England Patriots

Again, the Jets have their best chance at beating the Patriots when playing at home. After all, they do not fare well at Gillette Stadium. The last time they won in Foxborough came in 2010 when Mark Sanchez upset Tom Brady in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

This Jets team may be finally piecing things together the right way. However, Bill Belichick has been doing that successfully for decades now, and that is not suddenly going to change.

Prediction: Loss (1-5)

Week 8: NY Jets vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Happy Halloween Jets fans!

New York and former Bengals defensive end Carl Lawson host Joe Burrow and the Bengals in what should be a fun game to watch. In the end, the Jets can squeak by this one as they might have the upper hand defensively.

Prediction: Win (2-5)
