Best NY Jets picks for Daily Fantasy Football in Week 5
By Ryan Shafer
2. Breece Hall, RB, NY Jets
Another non-surprise, Breece Hall should be rostered by all fantasy owners this week, and I expect a monster game from Hall.
Coach Robert Saleh finally announced that Hall is no longer on a snap count, which comes just a week after Hall played his most of any game this year and dominated the playing time from Jets running backs.
Furthermore, Dalvin Cook has effectively played his way out of the rotation through four weeks, so Hall has little competition on the roster.
Again, looking at the monstrous games other running backs have posted against Denver means that Hall should have lots to look forward to in terms of running lanes.
The Bears ran for 171 yards against Denver, the Dolphins ran for 350 yards, the Raiders only finished with 61 yards, and Washington topped 120 on the ground. That’s an average of over 170 rushing yards per game against Denver.
The Jets' offensive line also finally seems to be hitting their groove, as the Jets ran 16 times for 106 yards against the Chiefs, good for over six yards per carry. I think Nathaniel Hackett opts to run even more this week, which could lead to some big totals for Hall.
Priced at $6,500 this week, Hall is a bit of an expensive option at the position. However, the upside against a bad defense coupled with an increased workload should produce a solid day for owners.
