NY Jets vs. Minnesota Vikings Best Bets for Week 13
By Justin Fried
The NY Jets will look to score a huge cross-conference victory when they travel to U.S. Bank Stadium to take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13. Coming off a one-sided 31-10 victory over the Chicago Bears a week ago, the Jets are hoping to keep the good times rolling.
Their opponent this week, however, poses a bit more of a threat. The Vikings sit at 9-2 having won eight of their last nine games. They boast a high-powered offense and enough defensive talent to make opposing offenses think twice.
The Vikings may not be quite as good as their record suggests, but they're no pushovers. This is a game that would go a long way toward the Jets' playoff push if they were to come away as winners.
Let's take a look at three of the best bets to make for this AFC/NFC clash. All odds are courtesy of FanDuel.

Best NY Jets Bets Week 13
Garrett Wilson OVER 62.5 receiving yards (-113)
Garrett Wilson was one of the biggest beneficiaries of Mike White's start last week as the rookie wide receiver finished with five catches for 95 yards and two touchdowns.
It's clear that Wilson is the top target in this Jets' offense, and if the team can even get semi-competent quarterback play over the final six games of the season, his production should see a steep increase.
That's especially true against a Vikings pass defense that's one of the worst in the NFL. No team has allowed more yards per attempt than the Vikings and their 3,037 total yards allowed in the air rank second only to the lowly Atlanta Falcons.
The Jets could have a big passing day on Sunday and Wilson is the odds-on favorite to benefit.
Dalvin Cook UNDER 70.5 rushing yards (-113)
Much of the Vikings' offensive success hinges on Dalvin Cook. When Cook gets into a rhythm, the Vikings' offense is usually rolling. But when teams contain him, Minnesota is forced to become one-dimensional.
The Jets have allowed just 4.0 yards per carry as a team this season, a figure that ranks sixth-best in the NFL. They will also see the return of defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins in Week 13 which should provide a boost to the team's run defense.
To make matters worse for Minnesota, the Vikings will once again be without star left tackle Christian Darrisaw. Cook struggled to get anything going against a stout Patriots defense with Darrisaw out last week as he managed only 42 yards on 22 carries, averaging less than 2.0 yards per carry.
Similar struggles could be on tap this week if the Jets' run defense plays up to the level they have in the past.
Justin Jefferson anytime touchdown scorer (+100)
In many ways, this Vikings offense runs through Justin Jefferson. The superstar wide receiver has amassed a whopping 1,232 yards on 81 catches through 11 games this season and is flirting with Calvin Johnson's single-season receiving record.
He'll face arguably his toughest matchup of the season in Week 13 against the Jets, however. Rookie Sauce Gardner is arguably already the best cornerback in football and his position-mate, D.J. Reed, has a legitimate case to be top 10 as well.
Still, no matter how good this Jets' secondary may be, the Vikings are going to do everything they can to get Jefferson involved. That's especially true if Cook struggles on the ground.
While I'm not as comfortable betting the over on his 85.5-yard receiving prompt, I think an anytime touchdown bet is good money for a player who has scored in three of his last four games.
