The NY Jets have released their initial injury report ahead of their Week 15 matchup with the Detroit Lions on Sunday and a few notable players are included, most notably star defensive tackle Quinnen Williams and starting quarterback Mike White.

Williams did not practice on Wednesday due to a calf injury he suffered in the team's Week 14 loss to the Buffalo Bills. The Jets hope that Williams will be able to play on Sunday, but head coach Robert Saleh continues to refer to his status as "50/50."

Others who did not participate in practice include wide receiver Corey Davis (concussion), cornerback Brandin Echols (quad), defensive end John Franklin-Myers (illness), and safety Will Parks (non-injury related).

Meanwhile, the likes of White (ribs), left tackle Duane Brown (shoulder), defensive end Micheal Clemons (knee), and offensive tackle George Fant (knee) were all limited.

The Jets remain hopeful that Davis will be able to play in Week 15, but he will have to pass concussion protocol before he's eligible to play. If he's unable to go, Denzel Mims will likely see an uptick in snaps.

Saleh told reporters on Monday that Echols is unlikely to play this week which means Bryce Hall could be active for the first time since Week 1. The Jets will need to find a replacement for Echols on the punt coverage team opposite Justin Hardee.

As for Franklin-Myers and Parks, there's been no indication that either is in danger of missing Sunday's game. Franklin-Myers is dealing with the flu while Parks missed practice for unclear reasons.

The limited players should be in no danger of missing Sunday's game either. The Jets are operating under the assumption that White will be able to play this weekend. If he's unable to play, the newly-promoted Zach Wilson is slated to be the starter.

Clemons is expected to return this week after missing Week 14 due to an illness and knee injury. That knee injury rendered him a limited participant on Wednesday but it's unlikely that prevents him from playing on Sunday.

The Lions were without offensive guard Kayode Awosika (ankle) and linebacker Derrick Barnes (knee) during Wednesday's practice while guard/center Evan Brown (ankle), fullback Jason Cabinda (ankle), offensive tackle Taylor Decker (ankle), cornerback Will Harris (hip), safety C.J. Moore (shoulder), and center Frank Ragnow (foot) were all limited.
