The NY Jets are expected to unveil a new uniform set in the near future. The team announced their plans to introduce new jerseys in February, but no official announcement has been made just yet about the exact date of the reveal.

Now, we might have our answer. Multiple sources have revealed to, a site dedicated to uniforms of sports teams, that the Jets will be unveiling their new uniforms on April 15. That's just nine days away at the time of writing.

Two teams, the Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos, have already revealed their release dates of April 18 and 22, respectively. It would make sense for the Jets to release their new uniforms around that same time.

Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner also hinted on social media this week that Jets fans should expect to see their favorite team's new uniforms "in a couple of weeks." That would align with this report.

What will the new NY Jets uniforms look like?

The Jets plan to make their throwback "Legacy" uniforms — stylized after the famous "Sack Exchange" jerseys from the 1980s — that they introduced last season their permanent road look for 2024.

This report also confirms what has widely been speculated for months now, and that's the expected change of the Jets' primary logo. The Jets are expected to bring back the logo they used between 1978 and 1997 — a change that was leaked when New Era revealed their 2024 NFL Draft hats last month.

The Jets wore their throwback jerseys two times last season. The first came in the team's Week 1 win over the Buffalo Bills while the second came in the team's Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.

Although the Jets won that Week 1 matchup, many will continue to associate that game with the infamous Aaron Rodgers injury. The Jets are hoping to create new, hopefully more positive, memories in the near future.

New uniforms are coming soon, Jets fans. Only a few more days.
