The NY Jets have a pretty extensive injury list ahead of their Week 16 meeting with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday Night Football. Quarterback Mike White and three others have been ruled out while three starters are questionable.

White has been ruled out for the second consecutive game with a rib injury while cornerback Brandin Echols (quad), wide receiver Denzel Mims (concussion), and wide receiver Jeff Smith (knee) will also miss Thursday night's game.

Meanwhile, defensive tackle Quinnen Williams is listed as questionable with a calf injury and is considered a game-time decision. Running back Zonovan Knight is questionable with an ankle injury while safety Lamarcus Joyner is questionable with a hip injury.

There is optimism that all three questionable players will be able to suit up on Thursday, especially after Williams was listed as a full participant in practice on Wednesday. It should be noted that the designation was simply an estimate as the Jets only held a walkthrough.

Knight injured his ankle in the team's Week 15 loss to the Detroit Lions, and while he did return to the game, the injury is clearly still affecting him. The odd part is that Knight was not listed on the injury report on Monday or Tuesday, only for him to pop up as a "full participant" on Wednesday.

If Knight is unable to play, the Jets will rely on the trio of Michael Carter, Ty Johnson, and James Robinson, the latter of whom would be set for a revenge game against his former team.

Joyner missed last Sunday's game after popping up on the injury report the previous Saturday with a hip injury. The veteran safety was listed as a limited participant all week and his status is unclear for Thursday's game. Will Parks would likely start in his place (as he did on Sunday) if Joyner is sidelined, assuming he's elevated from the practice squad.

As for the "out" players, cornerback Brandin Echols will miss his second consecutive game with a quad injury. Bryce Hall was active for the first time since Week 1 last week and played exclusively on special teams.

Mims suffered a concussion in the first quarter of last Sunday's game and will miss at least one week as a result. Fortunately, the return of Corey Davis should help alleviate his absence.

With Jeff Smith also inactive due to a knee injury, the Jets might be forced to elevate a wide receiver from their practice squad. Undrafted rookie Irvin Charles and return specialist Diontae Spencer are two options.

White Mike White out, it'll once again be Zach Wilson as QB1 with Joe Flacco as the primary backup.

The Jaguars will be without a number of notable players including No. 1 overall pick Travon Walker and former Jets defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi. Left tackle Cam Robinson is also out with a knee injury.
