The most successful NFL teams build their organizational foundation through the draft, and the NY Jets are no exception to that. While the franchise has endured its fair share of draft blunders, the current iteration of the Jets' roster is built on draft success stories.

The 2022 NFL Draft yielded the Jets numerous franchise cornerstones such as Sauce Gardner, Garrett Wilson, Jermaine Johnson, and Breece Hall. Other standouts like Quinnen Williams and Alijah Vera-Tucker were also acquired via the draft.

But for every draft-day success, the Jets have had plenty of misses. From Zach Wilson to Mekhi Becton, the Jets haven't always nailed their draft picks in recent years. In fact, there have probably been more misses than hits over the last few decades.

The Jets will have an opportunity to buck that trend and follow in the footsteps of their outstanding 2022 NFL Draft class in the coming years. Here is a look at the Jets' future draft picks:

Round 6 (Jets)

Round 6 (Chiefs)

The Jets possess a total of eight picks in the 2025 NFL Draft but do not have a pick in the seventh round. The Jets will either send their second or third-round pick in 2025 to the Las Vegas Raiders as part of the Davante Adams trade.

If Adams receives All-Pro honors or is on the Jets' roster in either the AFC Championship Game or Super Bowl, that conditional pick becomes a second-rounder. If not, it will remain a third-round pick.

The Jets acquired an extra third-round pick from the Detroit Lions via a draft-day trade in 2024 that saw New York send one of their fourth-round picks, No. 126 overall, to the Lions in exchange for a future third-round pick.

The Lions used that pick on Canadian-born offensive lineman Giovanni Manu while the Jets were able to recoup an additional Day 2 pick in the following year's draft.

The Jets acquired an additional fifth-round pick in the 2025 draft after sending veteran wide receiver Mike Williams to the Pittsburgh Steelers. They will have two selections in the fifth round.

The Jets also shipped their seventh-round pick in 2025 to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Mecole Hardman trade, acquiring a 2025 sixth-round pick in the process. That gives them two picks in Round 6 and none in Round 7.

Round 6 (Bills)

The Jets have already made a few changes to their crop of 2026 NFL Draft picks. The most notable pertains to the Haason Reddick trade, which will send a Day 2 pick in 2026 to the Philadelphia Eagles.

If Reddick plays 67.5 percent of defensive snaps in 2024 and records 10 or more sacks, the Jets will be forced to send a second-round pick in 2026 to the Eagles. If both conditions aren't met, the Jets will only send a third-round pick to Philadelphia.

The Jets also have three selections in the sixth round courtesy of the John Franklin-Myers trade and the Brandon Codrington trade. This means the Jets have their own sixth-round pick, Denver's selection in that round, and Buffalo's pick.

The Jets swapped their 2026 seventh-round pick for the Bills' 2026 sixth-round pick in the Codrington trade, so they do not have a pick in the seventh round.
