NY Jets vs. Eagles top Zach Wilson prop bet to make for Week 13 NFL game

The NY Jets will return home in Week 13 to take on the Philadelphia Eagles at MetLife Stadium looking to put together their first winning streak of the season.

The Jets managed to win their third game of the year last week when they defeated the Houston Texans by a final score of 21-14 in Week 12.

Zach Wilson made his long-awaited return, and although the rookie quarterback had his fair share of struggles throughout the game, he did enough to help lead his team to victory.

Nonetheless, the Jets will certainly be looking for a better performance from Wilson this week against the Eagles. Let's take a look at one prop bet for Wilson that could be worth the bet.

Zach Wilson, QB, NY Jets: 1.5 touchdown passes (o/u)

Wilson returned to much fanfare in Week 12, and although the Jets scored the win, it was entirely in spite of their quarterback. Wilson was erratic and inconsistent as the Jets game-planned around him for much of the day.

He might be asked to contribute more this week, however, against an Eagles defense that has the fourth-highest pressure rate among all NFL teams.

Wilson has only thrown for a touchdown in two of his seven games this season, although in both of those games he finished with two. When Wilson throws touchdowns, they come in bunches.

However, it would be a little wishful thinking to bet the over on a 1.5 touchdown prop bet seeing as in over 70 percent of starts this season he hasn't even thrown a single touchdown.

The Eagles' defense is also built to stop what Wilson does best. While the team is susceptible on underneath passes allowing just 6.2 intended air yards per attempt, they are much better at defending against big plays.

Wilson has completed 57 percent of his passes this season and struggled mightily to get into a rhythm in the short passing game. That much was very evident last week.

On top of that, Wilson could be without both Corey Davis and Keelan Cole this week. Cole landed on the COVID-19 list while Davis is questionable with a groin injury.
