The NY Jets will limp into their Week 8 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals fresh off a 54-13 demolition at the hands of the New England Patriots a week ago.

The Jets were blown out in embarrassing fashion by their archrivals while they saw rookie quarterback Zach Wilson leave early with a knee injury.

The Bengals, on the other hand, are riding an emotional high after soundly defeating the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday. Don't look now, but the Bengals are currently the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

NY Jets vs. Cincinnati Bengals Prediction Week 8

It's hard to see this game going any way other than a Bengals victory. Cincinnati proved that they are legitimate contenders with a dominant win over the Ravens last week.

The Bengals now sit atop the AFC as the conference's best team, and they likely won't relinquish that title this week. Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase are rolling, as is the team's overachieving defense.

Meanwhile, the less said about the Jets the better. There's a good chance that Mike White will be making his first career start in this game, and it's not like the team was particularly competitive with their starting quarterback playing.

The Jets have no reason even being competitive in this game, and barring a massive departure from what we've seen in recent weeks, they likely won't be.

Expect the Bengals to steamroll their inferior foes en route to an AFC-best 6-2 record. Let's call it a final score of 35-10.
