NY Jets defensive lineman (10)

  • Carl Lawson (DE), John Franklin-Myers (DE), Jermaine Johnson (DE), Will McDonald (DE), Bryce Huff (DE), Micheal Clemons (DE), Quinnen Williams (DT), Al Woods (DT), Quinton Jefferson (DT), Solomon Thomas (DT)

Another position the Jets added a lot of depth to this offseason was the defensive line. They are six players deep at the edge and also in the interior if you include Franklin-Myers and Clemons, given their versatility.

Robert Saleh and Jeff Ulbrich love to rotate their defensive line, so all of these players should get some snaps. Players like Isaiah Mack or Tanzel Smart are options to be brought back on the practice squad.

NY Jets linebackers (4)

C.J. Mosley, Quincy Williams, Jamien Sherwood, Zaire Barnes

This is one position where the Jets could still very well add a veteran, as it is one of the thinner positions on this roster. Kwon Alexander is still available, along with some other options.

For now, Jamien Sherwood will take the third linebacker spot, and rookie Zaire Barnes will be the fourth linebacker and contribute on special teams.

Hamsah Nasirildeen and Chazz Surratt will compete for a roster spot in training camp and would be options to be brought back on the practice squad if they don’t make it.
