Overall

I did this exercise back in May but thought it would be fun to look at another simulation. The first simulation I did was very generous. It had the Jets going 12-5 with wins over the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and Philadelphia Eagles. This time it was a little bit more toned down, with the Jets going 10-7 and losing to the Chiefs and Eagles.

The last simulation also had Aaron Rodgers throwing for over 5,000 yards, which he has not done in his career. This time, they had him throw for 4,505, which would still be his second-highest in his career. It also has him throwing 19 interceptions, which would be by far the most he’s thrown in a season.

I would expect the running backs' carry totals to be a little bit closer as well due to the Jets not wanting to rush Breece Hall back from his injury. It will also be interesting to see how the Jets deploy their deep receiver room.

This simulation has Garrett Wilson and Allen Lazard as the main two targets, with everyone else mixed in. There are a lot of mouths to feed in this offense.

Overall, no one can predict the craziness of an NFL season, but I am sure Jets fans would not be too upset with this outcome.
