The NY Jets are just days away from participating in this year's Hall of Fame Game. The annual tradition will kick off the NFL's preseason and mark a little over a month until the regular season begins.

This will be the third time the Jets have appeared in the Hall of Fame Game since the event's inception in 1962. The first time the Jets played in the Hall of Fame Game, they fell short against the Chicago Bears in a 20-6 loss back in 1977.

Their fortunes turned around, however, 15 years later when the Jets defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 41-14 in the 1992 edition of the game. 31 years later, the Jets will return to Canton.

Which teams are playing in the 2023 Hall of Fame Game?

The Jets will take on the Cleveland Browns in this year's Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. While the Jets have only appeared in the game twice, the Browns have done so five times, with their last appearance coming in a 20-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys in 1999.

Revis and Klecko are being inducted into the Hall of Fame as Jets, while the Browns will see longtime left tackle Joe Thomas enshrined as one of the members of this year's class.
