Jets vs. Cowboys odds, spread and total

MacMillian is using the lookahead line to help frame context of this bet on Gang Green..

"The Jets were originally 3.5-point underdogs in this game before the Rodgers injury. Since this, the spread has ballooned six points up to +9.5," MacMillian writes.

While MacMillian states that there is a massive drop from Rodgers to Wilson, he's not sure it should be a six-point shift in the spread, mainly due to the fact that the Jets have a loaded defense.

"Let's not forget how dominant the Jets defense was against the Bills, reminding people that they were a top three unit in the league last season," MacMillian said. "Based on their defense alone, they can keep their team in this game."

"With Breece Hall and Dalvin Cook being an effective one-two punch on the ground, the Jets will be alright as long as Wilson doesn't throw away the game."
