The NY Jets have an important game in Week 6 as they square off against the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
Despite the Eagles' undefeated record, their defense does struggle in some areas as they have surrendered a fair amount of points so far this year, including 20 to the New England Patriots, 24 to the Washington Commanders, and 28 to the Minnesota Vikings.
Additionally, their passing defense ranks 25th in the NFL this year, meaning there could be opportunities for the Jets to expose the secondary. The secondary might also be down Darius Slay, who is questionable for Sunday's game.
Below are three options to target this week for Jets players for daily fantasy lineups.
1. Tyler Conklin, TE, NY Jets
I'm not even going to try and hide my affinity for Tyler Conklin anymore. The man is a legitimately good tight end and produces just as well as anyone not named Travis Kelce or George Kittle.
Last week, Conklin had another solid performance, posting four catches for 67 yards, good for 10.7 fantasy points. On the year, he has 17 catches for 203 yards. Remove his disappointing one-catch-for-two-yards debut, and he's had 16 catches for 200 yards in the last four games.
It seems as if Conklin's floor has settled to around four catches and 50 yards, which is a great floor for a fantasy football tight end this season. In fact, Conklin ranks as the 18th overall tight end so far in PPR leagues despite not finding the endzone yet.
I think Conklin gets that first score this week to add to a dynamic day against a weak Eagles secondary. At just $4,900 on FanDuel, Conklin offers a far better floor than others at that price and a far more consistent opportunity to score.
