With a Week 5 matchup against the disappointing 1-3 Denver Broncos, the NY Jets have a lot of options for Daily Fantasy Football this week.
Coming off a career-best outing last week against the Chiefs, quarterback Zach Wilson aims to build upon his success and continue spreading the ball around to his playmakers as the Jets look to top 20 offensive points for the first time this season.
Below are three targets from the Jets offense for daily fantasy football players this week.
1. Garrett Wilson, WR, NY Jets
At $7,400 this week on FanDuel, Garrett Wilson tops the charts as a must-play option for daily fantasy players. Coming off an impressive nine-catch, 60-yard performance last week, Wilson seems to have finally hit his groove.
He also managed to get 14 targets, by far a team and season-high for Wilson this year, which is encouraging. Even if his yardage falls short of expectations, amassing that many targets should lead to lots of catches and points for owners.
Additionally, the Broncos have struggled to contain receivers this season. Going back to Week 1, number one receiving options for opposing teams have had lots of success against the Denver defense.
Davante Adams posted six catches for 66 yards (12.6 points), Terry McLaurin had five catches for 54 yards and a score (16.4 points), Tyreek Hill had nine catches for 154 yards and a score (30.4 points), and DJ Moore had eight catches for 131 yards and a score (27.1 points).
I expect the Jets to follow a similar game plan to last week that saw Garrett Wilson get lots of targets early and often. I would expect a similar target share of 12-15 targets. If Wilson can finish with eight catches for 75 yards and a score, it would be a great day for owners.
