2. Zach Wilson, QB, NY Jets

The Jets' success in 2022 will hinge on the performance of Zach Wilson. The team did an excellent job of improving their young quarterback's supporting cast and eliminating any possible variables.

The excuses will be limited for Wilson this season, and the next step in his development will start in training camp.

Wilson's season won't be made or broken this summer, but his performance will either instill confidence in the Jets and their supporters or raise some serious concerns ahead of the upcoming season.

If he shows up and looks the part, the outlook on the Jets' season will improve. However, if he flounders, there will be many who start to sound the alarms.

1. Mekhi Becton, OT, NY Jets

No player on the Jets' roster will be under more scrutiny this summer than Mekhi Becton. Becton has been the talk of the offseason for all the wrong reasons over the last few months.

But he has a chance to put all of those concerns to bet come training camp. If Becton shows up in shape and quickly looks like the player he was as a rookie, the masses will put down their pitchforks.

However, if Becton shows up out of shape and unmotivated, the concerns surrounding the young offensive lineman will grow exponentially.

Becton has a lot on the line this summer. No player has more to prove to the Jets and their fanbase in training camp than he does.
